Ecocene is the result of a powerful union: Astron Advisory, a leader in ecological consultancy, and Ecoda, an environmental intelligence platform, and the launch of Ecoengine, a decentralised environmental restoration project funding engine.
The new brand's purpose is bold; to regenerate the planet, one project at a time.
To achieve this, Ecocene needed more than just a new identity; it required a complete realignment of its brand architecture, positioning, and digital experience.
Juicebox partnered with Ecocene to consolidate its legacy, clarify its complex services, and position the unified brand for national and global growth.
Challenge of consolidation
Bringing two respected entities together, while launching a new one, under one name created a complex challenge.
Ecocene faced three key challenges: unifying two decades of brand equity, clarifying a sprawling set of services, and establishing authority for a new name from scratch.

The goal was to build a distinctive and scalable brand that would earn trust among its technically minded audience who consist of scientists, project managers, and funding partners working across multiple sectors.

Crafting a Unified Identity
Juicebox led a brand transformation that distilled Ecocene’s vision into a clear, cohesive system. The brand architecture was built by simplifying a fragmented brand structure into one recognisable identity.
The new brand was built on three clear pillars: Expertise, Intelligence, and Funding. Each had its own distinct palette and wordmark, all united under a consistent visual and verbal system.
We evolved Ecocene's existing brand assets into a dynamic, layered graphic language, creating an identity that balances scientific credibility with modern energy, while providing the required flexibility for future growth and expansion.
Building a future-ready platform
The new Ecocene website became the central hub for the brand, designed to educate and engage multiple technical audiences, from scientists to funding partners. We created a content-first structure with dedicated landing pages for each service pillar, ensuring a seamless user experience.
The platform was built with a modern, modular tech stack, prioritising performance and flexibility for future growth and AI-powered enhancements.

Ecocene launched with a brand identity that unites its legacy with its bold new purpose, creating immediate credibility in the market. The simplified brand architecture brought clarity and unification to internal teams, making services easier to communicate to clients and partners.
