The State Buildings turned ten this year.
A decade as Perth's gathering place: COMO The Treasury, Wildflower, Post, Petition, Long Chim, and more under one Victorian roof, at the geographic heart of the state.
It is a precinct defined by its layers. The building has been evolving since 1875, shaped by the people who pass through it daily. Locals and travellers. Chefs and executives. A wedding in the Postal Hall, and a chef takeover the following week. That quality of being alive and in motion is what makes the State Buildings remarkable.
Its digital presence, until recently, did not reflect any of that. Eight standalone websites created confusion for guests, and operational strain for the team. A precinct this rich deserved a single digital home built to carry its character.
Working in close partnership with the State Buildings team, Juicebox unified eight websites into one cohesive platform. The brand, defined by TCYK, shaped the experience throughout. Booking architecture, content management, and the guest journey were consolidated into a single high-performance system built around how guests actually behave: predominantly on mobile, moving quickly between curiosity and commitment.
The design language draws from the precinct itself. Alive, generous, and convivial. Refined motion patterns translate the character of the physical environment into something effortless. A modern headless CMS gives the State Buildings team real-time content control across the entire precinct.
The platform is built to grow alongside the precinct as it continues to evolve.
