Strategic Insight

By effectively positioning Inteforge within its economic and cultural context and competitive landscape, we could develop a future-focused brand.

Signalling change

Through a renaming workshop and desktop research, we renamed SinoStruct to Inteforge. The ‘inte’ relates to integration and intelligence, while ‘forge’ means to make or shape, and create something enduring. The name accurately reflects its service offering while expressing its driven nature, and the innovation and collaboration it will take to reach its goals.

Cutting through

Inteforge integrates with client partners to develop next-generation technologies and infrastructure. The tagline ‘Integrated fabrication’ encapsulates this upstream approach and cuts through with a feeling of immediacy that speaks to new opportunities for growth in mining, energy and heavy industry.

Defining difference

We defined Inteforge’s points of difference by defining how they approached procurement, fabrication and logistics. We came up with: ‘Upstream Integration’, ‘Consistent Capabilities’, ‘Flexible Collaboration’ and ‘End-To-End Management’. These selling points inspired the brand system and digital experience to come.

Future proofing

The Inteforge logo mark comprises of abstract horizontal lines taken from the ‘I’ and ‘F’ of the two syllables in the brand name. The word mark is a bespoke set of characters that feel ‘forged’ together, representing integration whilst nodding to the aesthetics of fabrication.

Working with a team that was ready to seize new opportunities and reinvent itself meant we could transition a fabrication business from rigid and expected to a brand that can move, speak and exist in a digital landscape.

Inteforge may be a fabrication service provider, but it required a digital presence that went beyond traditional industrial websites and borrowed from technology to become the progressive company the industry needed.

Instead of prioritising services, Inteforge’s digital shopfront now leads with their point of difference, from upstream integration with agile technical systems to flexible collaboration that achieves client goals. The company’s unique approach and selling points are front and centre.

We visualised Inteforge’s coherent brand ideas into iconography and abstract visuals, which we used to signpost information on the website. Glass morphism is a beautiful addition to the brand system, and feels tactile and dynamic, speaking to innovation and progress.

Instead of just saying ‘Inteforge strives to optimise technology and operations in support of exceptional delivery’, we showed it with an impactful full-width video the audience sees on landing. This shows the scale of Inteforge and proves their capabilities.
