We fell in love with crafting a brand identity reflecting sunsets, 70’s surf culture and coastal living. The project was awarded Bronze at the PADC Awards for Best Small Brand Identity & Application.
Eat No Evil is an iconic Fremantle food truck that focuses on a whole sensory experience – seasonal food that combines elements of South East Asian eats with the spice of Mexico.
We were asked to create a brand that represented the local scene, however with an aesthetic that wouldn’t seem out of sorts at weddings and corporate events.
The outcome was inspired by a Miami sunset and 70’s surf culture: a new marque, almost an eclectic Oasis sunset, complimented the new positioning statement:
Local. Seasonal. Mobile.
We followed the identity with a series of drawn motifs, typography and patterns, all set in a pastel colour palette referencing the coastline. The idea was for this mix to be versatile, as busy or as minimal as desired.
