AROSE

The first Juicebox-created brand destined for space, we were tasked to showcase Western Australia’s technological innovations and their place in reaching new frontiers. 

Australian Remote Operations for Space and Earth approached us needing a digital-first brand and website. The aim of the newly established group was to unify Australia’s unique abilities in the space sector and terrestrial remote operations. The AROSE marque would need to feel as fitting in Silicon Valley as it would alongside a national space program. The brand’s digital presence also needed to appeal to all stakeholders as well as potential new technology partners.

The primary icon is built into the AROSE wordmark, the letter ‘A’ with a cross-bar to reflect the horizon and curvature of a planet. The up and down strokes represent data being sent beyond the planet’s surface and returning.

Juicebox also designed and built a microsite in collaboration with the AROSE consortium. With multiple stakeholders, the AROSE brand guidelines have been made readily available to consortium members for use in their communications related to remote operations and interplanetary exploration.
